Letter from our Coach

Master Welcher
In 2011, personal reasons compelled me to relocate to Canada, initiating a new phase in my career while pausing significant professional plans envisioned for the USA. Nevertheless, the dedication to those original dreams persisted, and now, at age 67, I am resolved to realize them.

This ambitious initiative integrates elite Karate and Martial Arts training for the National Team with the strategic inclusion of international world champion instructors. Their collaboration is intended to infuse the program with diverse, high-level experience, thereby advancing the competitive standard of American martial arts.

My confidence in this approach is rooted in its proven effectiveness with the Canadian National Karate Team. Applying my innovations in technique, pedagogy, and motivation resulted in substantial achievements over a five-year period, including 1 World Championship title, 6 World Runners-up positions, and 18 international medals, developed from the ground up. This U.S. project enhances this model by adding structured pathways toward professional careers (e.g., martial arts instruction, international refereeing) alongside athletic training.
This holistic development serves as a potent motivational factor, expected to unlock exceptional technical growth.

These complementary career avenues form the core of the 'Extra Parallel Worlds' concept—a framework designed to cultivate unwavering determination by maximizing athlete morale through diverse incentives, recognizing this as paramount for achieving objectives.

It is profoundly important to contribute meaningfully during one's time and leave behind resources that others may utilize. It is my firm conviction that every member of this team has the potential to make a lasting contribution and achieve recognition within the international Karate and Martial Arts sphere.

My book, "Success in Your Hands," delves into the application of Karate and Martial Arts principles in life and society, offering a deeper perspective on the objectives driving this project.
